I'm an ultrarunner who'd love to get away from pen & paper run logging.  From my research, Pace seems to fit what I'm looking for the best.  However ultimately I find I use my logbook the most to track weekly mileage totals, injury info, and PRs for a given course.  I often go back to logbooks from years ago for this.  So, my questions:

1.  Is there a way to see the mileage totals from previous weeks (including weekly totals from a few years ago)?
2.  I don't have any experience exporting files to CSV - it sounds (I'm guessing here) that it would be able to be imported into an excel file.  Would it format itself into a searchable document (so I could search for, say "itbs" & find all the dates & notes from when this injury occurred).  If so, is there an example of the resulting Pace excel document I could see?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks much for writing, especially before purchasing -- I like to make sure you get exactly what you expect.

Your first question, about seeing totals for previous weeks, etc. The version currently on the app store does not have this feature. The version currently on my iPhone does -- that is to say, as soon as I wrap up a few additional features/bug fixes, the next update will include this functionality, both in the summary totals on the Runs screen (for week/month/year) and the graphs. I estimate about a month until the update is out.

As for export to CSV, you are exactly right, the CSV file will load into Excel at which point you can use Excel's find and other functionality to view and manipulate the data.

As for a sample file, email me at support @ cychosis.com and I will send you one tomorrow.

Also, how about his -- if you like, I can send you a promo code that you can use on the iTunes store to download Pace for free and try it out. If that sounds good, I will email the promo code with the CSV file tomorrow as well.

Cheers,
Ron
